Stash joins the Digital ID & Authentication Council of Canada

Stash is excited to announce it has joined the Digital ID & Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC).  DIACC is a non-profit coalition of private and public sector leaders who are committed to unlocking economic opportunities for Canadian consumers and businesses while protecting and promoting Canadian values and perspectives in the digital economy. Working towards establishing an interoperable ecosystem that Canadians can use with confidence, DIACC has launched the Pan-Canadian Trust Framework™, which permits trusted digital identity and clear guidelines on digital interoperability.

“In the digital age, it is too easy for people to remain anonymous online or claim to be someone they aren’t. In the physical world, we have ways of proving who we are through different identification methods which makes it difficult for someone to fake their identity. As we increasingly go digital, we need a form of digital identity to help people stay secure and limit their risks of being the subject of fraudulent activity,” said Jerry Wolverton, Founder & CEO of Stash. “We believe our patent-pending Island Technology and our user-focused approach to digital security can assist in DIACC’s mission to achieve excellence in digital identity.”

As a member of DIACC, Stash is committed to unlocking economic opportunities for consumers, and businesses by providing the framework to develop a robust, secure, scalable, and privacy-enhancing digital identification and authentication ecosystem.
